Hard lessons learned from a decade of architecting software on the cloud
There's a certain kind of joy that comes from designing the architecture of a new software product using the platforms that you love. You envision a castle and begin building it, brick by brick, until it goes live. But no architecture is flawless, and the journey to production is a turbulent one. In this talk, I'm sharing many failed—and successful—attempts at delivering software products using a cacophony of Azure services released over the past decade, and how the next generation of software architecture must reflect the demands of the times to bring balance between simplicity and digital sovereignty.
