Airport Quest: Relationship-Based Access Control with OpenFGA
Authorization models need to be as flexible and dynamic as the environments they protect. In this session, I’ll take you on an adventure through the world of Relationship-Based Access Control (ReBAC) with OpenFGA, an open-source authorization system built for high performance and flexibility.
I'll demonstrate Airport Quest; a fun, interactive scenario to guide you through the limitations of traditional models like Role-Based and Attribute-Based Access Control. Then, I’ll show you how we can improve Airport Quest by incorporating OpenFGA. OpenFGA empowers developers to manage fine-grained, dynamic access control by leveraging real-world relationships between users and objects.
Expect a unique and engaging experience that combines practical demos with a touch of adventure as I show how to implement ReBAC in a .NET environment and make authorization smarter, not harder.
